Quick recipes
Quick here means under about forty-five minutes and is a looser tag than the timed ones. What these recipes share is that they can be started without planning — nothing needs marinating, proving, chilling or ordering in advance, and the ingredients are the sort of thing a reasonably stocked kitchen has. Where a recipe would be better with an overnight step, it says so and gives the version that works without it.
